Registration Information

Delegate Registration

All attendees, including invited speakers, must register in advance of the Congress. Registered delegates will receive the following:

  • Delegate bag including the programme and other associated materials
  • Name badge permitting access to all sessions
  • Lunch and refreshment breaks on the days attended
  • Complimentary admission to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Wednesday 23rd August
  • Option to purchase a ticket for the Gala Dinner on Friday 25th August

Accompanying Guests

All accompanying guests must be registered. Please provide full guest names as all guests will be issued with a badge for entry to the drinks reception. The Accompanying Guest Registration includes:

  • Name Badge permitting access to the following events, but NOT Congress sessions
  • Admission to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Wednesday 23rd August
  • Option to purchase a ticket for the Gala Dinner on Friday 25th August
  • Manchester city tour

Congress Eligibility

To register for the Congress you must be either a Member of an ESH constituent society, a member of ISH or IMHE or be one of the following:

  • Medical, Dental or Health professional (in the UK Registered with GMC, GDC, NMC, HCPC)
  • Clinical Psychologist
  • University-based Academic
  • UKCP Registered psychotherapist
  • Postgraduate counsellor
  • RSM Fellows

As a Congress participant it is expected that you only use hypnosis in a manner that is compatible with the ethical rules of your professional association and the ESH ethical guidelines, and within the remit of your professional competence. You will be asked to agree to this during registration.

Calling all talents:-  songs, skits, poems, music (you need to bring your own musical instruments), including funny powerpoint presentations related to the conference and hypnosis - put together by the conference attendees, coordinated by Åsa Fe Kockum. As a guideline - 3-4 minutes each.
